MEMBER NOTICE

Dear TIA Member,

On behalf of your Board of Directors, I am writing to let you know about some exciting changes that we hope will make your membership in TIA even more beneficial to your business.  The Association will soon begin evaluating a number of potential programs and workshops that will add valuable new member benefits in the coming year.

I also write to let you know Roberto Quinones will be leaving his position as Executive Director to pursue other opportunities. He will embark on the next phase of his career beginning immediately and we wish him the very best with this transition and with his future pursuits.

Under Roberto’s and Association Management Group’s two-year watch, good progress has been made. New members have joined the association, last month in Las Vegas our staff delivered the most successful conference in the history of the association, and we have produced a membership directory and a newsletter.  As a result, TIA is thriving and our financial performance, balance sheet and reserves continue to be strong. 

The Board has named Jim Kabbani, a highly regarded association executive to become TIA’s Executive Director. Jim will immediately step in to work with you and TIA’s AMG staff to both continue and expand the programming and services for members. You will find Jim’s bio on our website.  Jim is a seasoned executive with a track record of growing organizations and greatly increasing member benefits. 

The Board and I are confident that the coming months and years will be an exciting time with new events, services, programs and deliverables for the members of the Tortilla Industry Association.
